Security Officer

We are thrilled to announce an enticing opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious Security Officer to become part of our expanding and vibrant team. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ premises, employing a variety of techniques and strategies to maintain a secure environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Enhancing the security and safety of the company’s clients, operations and interests by protecting the well-being of client’s employees.
• Assisting with prevention against losses, accidents and inferior customer service.
• Protecting the property, clients, customers and profits of clients.
• Supporting the prevention of the commission of crime.
• Reporting and recording anything unusual and all matters relating to security and safety that may occur during each tour of duty.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Candidates are expected to possess a high school education or equivalent, demonstrate maturity, and exhibit self-discipline.
• A minimum of five years of experience in law enforcement, military, correctional, or security services is essential.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• First Aid Training is preferred.

Key attributes and skills required:

• Applicants must be experienced, physically fit (may be subject to a company physical fitness test prior to employment), alert, able to work shifts (predominantly night shifts) and shift patterns.
• Capable of standing and/or walking for extended periods.
• A clean, tidy and neat appearance and the ability to communicate with clients, customers and the general public in a professional, pleasant and courteous manner are essential.
